Key Responsibilities: Welfare Facilities and Social Benefits Measurement Statutory Measurable benefits Drinking water facilities Shelter for rest Creches Adequate toilet facilities Canteen facilities House Keeping Management Leading the POSH Committee Uniform and shoes facilities First Aid Appliances facilities Maternity Benefits facilities Occupational Health Center Social benefits implementation and monitoring (i.e. ESI,PF, Medical Insurance etc.,) Employee’s Health Checkup as per Factories Act. Other Health, Welfare and Safety measures under Factories Act 1948 and Rules 1950.

Non-Statutory Measurable Benefits: - Grievances handling for workers Maintain harmonious relationship between factory (Management) and workers. Prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safe work environment. promote and improve productive efficiency. Compensation for injuries and sickness. Counselling for education and personal problems of workers Worker’s training

Committee formation and employee engagement:- As per Factories and Others Act, Welfare Officer will form or modify Welfare Committee Canteen Committee Works Committee Grievance Committee MOM to be prepared and sent to HO / LMT for implementation. Celebration of workers birthday or anniversary etc.

Human Resources (HR) Partner with Manager HR BP and Plant Manager relating to documentation & coordination. Coordinating & making arrangements for employee training. Supporting and coordinating for ETI (Ethical Trade Initiatives) and Sedex Members Ethical Trade Activities (SMETA) compliances. Factory Inspector’s audits / visits, Factory related documents to be prepared / submitted Need to support and involve in all HR related work with Plant Manager and Manager HR

Requirements:

Hard skills: Masters in HR 8 to 10 Years of relevant experience Proficiency in MS Office suites. Fluent in English and in Tamil is a must. Time management and work prioritization skills Knowledge of outlook Sound knowledge on HR policies and labor relations.

Soft skills:

Proven self-starter with the ability to create and implement a vision. Good communication and articulation skills (written, verbal and presentational). First class interpersonal skills. Loyal, liable, integrity is key. Proactive & resilient attitude. Able to cope with a pressurized environment, adaptability. Team player, but also able to solve problems and work independently Flexible attitude, able to adapt to and manage change.
